Greg Robertson is a longtime food ingredient industry executive with a background in Croton, NY. He began his career as an account executive with Technology Flavors & Fragrances, Inc., where he built a number of lasting business relationships with prospective and existing clients, as well as industry leaders. He subsequently engaged with Ungerer & Company as key account manager for flavors and basic materials.
Mr. Robertson founded Teawolf, LLC in Brook, New Jersey, in 2008, where he oversaw the construction of a factory that applied a variety of ingredient-processing technologies, from distillation to ethanol and water extraction. He delivered domestically produced liquid extracts, forming strategic relationships with tea and botanical partners worldwide. The company had attained $22 million in annual revenue by 2016, when the Doehler Group acquired it.
Mr. Robertson next held executive responsibilities with Doehler North America as natural performance business unit head. He oversaw production of flavors, extracts, and other natural ingredients at the same Pine Brook, New Jersey, production site that had housed Teawolf. He also coordinated the sourcing and distribution of botanicals and botanical extract products from international Doehler sites. Greg Robertson was raised in Croton, NY, where he excelled as a basketball and football player in his youth.
